 the ISOcat source code repository has been merged into the CLARIN EU repository; the revision number now follows this repository

 isocat.org is now redirected to catalog.clarin.eu, which is a Shibboleth Service Provider; users with institutional credentials from the CLARIN Identity Federation can now bind these to their ISOcat account and can then login to the ISOcat web user interface using these credentials, but for now the forum still uses the ISOcat credentials; PIDs will continue to be based on isocat.org, and we are in the process of making that server a part of the CLARIN Service Federation

 a simple DC which is a member of the Private profile can have an is-a relationship with a DC from any profile, i.e., this to allow is-a relationships between DCs that need further harmonization (for instance aligning profile membership)

 DC(S) access can now be further refined to read-only and read-write, where previously the latter would be the default

 even when a DC is private its specifications can now be accessed, however, the DC will not be included in navigation/search/etc. in the public section of the web user interface; this allows to always be able to access DC specifications if they appear ‘in the wild’
