Several problems introduced after updating drupal modules

Description
After a security update of the (non-core) drupal modules the following problems were noticed:
- upcoming_events view not working correctly anymore
- print-friendly page results in blank page

obsolete tickets for old website (user.clarin.eu, currently only used to create/edit CLARIN accounts) - closing them all so that we can use this component for tickets about the new website (www.clarin.eu)
