Work at IDS Mannheim initiated towards improving searchability of definitions published in ISO TC37 SC4 norms, visualising term graphs, and publishing them as subpart of CLARIN SIS.

== June 2017 ==
Liaison between ISO TC37 SC4 and CLARIN-ERIC formally established, with Andreas Witt as Liaison Officer.

CLARIN+ report on [https://office.clarin.eu/v/CE-2016-0879-CLARINPLUS-D5_3-7-Standards.pdf Adoption and Implementation of Standards (D5.3-7)] published online, co-authored by a CSC member Claus Povlsen.

== January 2017 ==

Release of the [https://github.com/clarin-eric/standards/tree/master/SIS CLARIN SIS]. From this moment, futher development will continue at !GitHub. It is hoped that the SIS will be eventually moved from its current address (http://clarin.ids-mannheim.de/standards/) into clarin.eu space (in terms of both server space and Net address space).

Members of the CSC (Neeme Kahusk, Monica Monachini, Peteris Paikens, Andreas Witt, Piotr Bański) are participating in the CLARIN Workshop "Towards Interoperability of Lexico-Semantic Resources" in Tartu, Estonia.

== December 2016 ==

Conceptual work on the CSC !GitHub workspace (https://github.com/clarin-eric/standards). 
Work on the clearance of licenses for the release of IDS Mannheim code for the Standards Information System.


== November 2016 ==

Beginning of the reporting on the rationale for the CLARIN-ISO liaison, as requested by the BoD. The result is available at https://trac.clarin.eu/wiki/CLARIN-ISO%20liaison
(additions to the report made in January 2017, during the Tartu workshop on interoperability of lexico-semantic resources; one of the workshop's final resolutions is to support this initiative)
