  * Separate out best practices, maybe cross reference
  * Dieter: there should be no restrictions on publication
	 * Menzo: should not be a problem for this spec
* Work thus far
  * Thorsten is working on the ISO draft which will be published
	 * must be in line with CMDI 1.2
	 * 1 year left to complete
  * Information currently in spec is adapted from the ISO draft
	 * the specification document should look different from ISO document to prevent confusion
	 * parallel development of these two

	 * definitions for header should comply with CMDI 1.2
	 * change component specification language
	 * everyone agrees with the following action points:
	   * full adaptation to CMDI 1.2 feature set and changes w.r.t. CMDI 1.1
	   * further formalisation (e.g. usage of the key words (must, required, should etc) as in the [[FCS/Specification|FCS specification]]), 'sharpening' of definitions etc.
	   * inclusion of the specification language UML diagram
	   * addition of illustrative and exhaustive XML examples
	   * splitting off or at least separating 'best practices' and other bits of text that are less formal and more usage oriented

  * Work on CMDI 1.2 schemas can largely happen concurrently
