Docs
There is a discussion paper under:
FederatedSearch/docs/FederatedSearch.docx
that tries to collect all the previous information, especially around the Query Language and the use of the protocol in individual Working Groups/ subprojects(EDC, clarin.nl: Search & Development).
It can be seen as a much more concise successor of what has been there until now, like the QueryLanguage page on trac-wiki and both the MM/EDC proposal and the Search & Development status report.
Meanwhile there has been a review round and already some feedback/comments, also integrated in the document, so it is getting more complete, although there are still empty chapters and question marks.
Also changes are now being logged inside the document. (as of 2011-03-15)
We still need a short version of that!
