Encoding in VLO CMDI view
Reported by: | ttrippel | Owned by: | Twan Goosen |
---|---|---|---|
Priority: | major | Milestone: | |
Component: | VLO web app | Version: | |
Keywords: | Encoding, VLO, CMDI display | Cc: | teckart@informatik.uni-leipzig.de, KeesJan.vandeLooij@mpi.nl, teckart |
Description
In the German description, the typical diacritics are being used. In the view UTF-8 seems to be supported, but when the CMDI-file is being shown (by clicking show CMDI metadata), the characters in the CMDI file are messed up
Tested with Firefox and Chrome

Sigh -- the error is still here with VLO 2.16 beta (tested with Firefox on Ubuntu 13.10). Maybe it has to do with the wrong HTML embedding reported in ticket #430

tickets.
Can't reproduce this problem on two test machines. We should check if explicitly setting the output encoding of Saxon helps (r3762).
