Consider adding a page that presents a dynamic search form where users can select facets from drop downs, then for each facet an operator (and/or/not) and one or more values (probably a drop down list of top values with a 'more' options that opens the 'all values' panel) to construct a complex query.
Submitting should take the user back to the faceted search page with the results matching the complex query (which should appear in the breadcrumbs and be represented in the value selection panels but not necessarily be fully editable).

The QueryFacetSelection? POJO is already prepared for this. Some work may be needed in the DAO's/query factories.

Because it is not clear from the wording above: This allows to search the same facet twice or more times; see #427

Searching the same facet twice is a requirement from the VLO task force, I raise the priority for that reason.
