#600 closed feature (fixed)

Allow for (but advice against) modification of published collections

Description (last modified by Twan Goosen)

Currently published collections in the VCR are frozen, i.e. not editable by anyone. Allow the original owner of a published VC to modify it but doing so should yield a confirmation dialogue telling the user to be careful modifying published content.

Add an optional 'frozen' state that guarantees no future changes to the published collection.

Original request by Dieter:

Now all published VCs are unchangeable. Change this so that published VCs can still be changed by default. Add an additional state ("frozen") which does not allow any changes anymore but still allows the author to remove the VC. Later on this can be formalized as an official publication act: give the VC a DOI and publish its metadata via DataCite.

TODO: add confirmation dialogue on update (finish wizard)

Added a separate ticket (not on 1.0 milestone) for 'frozen' state: #615
