Description (last modified by Dieter Van Uytvanck)

Insert the following fragment under News (and before the 2 columns):

---

Every month, CLARIN publishes a newsletter with an overview of what has been happening at CLARIN ERIC, the national consortia, etc. Subscribing to it is the ideal way of staying informed.

---

In addition to this the /content/newsflash page should be added as a child page of the /newsflash view.

unclear what "In addition to.." means: there's only a basic page Newsflash, which is /content/newsflash, I didn't find /newsflash. Only newsflash archive, which is already a child page

That was indeed a typo - it should be "as a childpage of the /news-portal view".

News-portal is partially constructed as a context clarineric (included in feature clarineric) which determines both news and blog views in a block. I've added a block in the same way as clarin certified centres, where a description is shown. This can easily be changed by content managers without changing the code base.

The changes need to be exported and added to the code: module openscience/openscience_ui/openscience_ui.context.inc

Newsflash as a child of new-portal: this means
moving newsflash from current Contact to News menu
show the Menu block on news-portal on left side - in the same way as now on Newsflash
show the link to Newsflash in Main menu - in the same way as Contact now shows Mailing lists, Newsflash and Support?

Thanks. Editing of the block works well. I also moved Newsflash now under the menu item News. I think the ticket can be closed :)
