'Featured Resource' View on portal home page not changing

Description
When I visit the URL http://www.clarin.eu/ as an unauthenticated user the 'Featured Resource' box on the landing page always displays 'Korp', and continues to display 'Korp' when I refresh the page.
When I visit http://clarin.eu/guest-portal as an unauthenticated user the 'Featured Resource' box on the landing page always displays 'Czech National Corpus', and continues to display 'Czech National Corpus' when I refresh the page.
When I visit https://clarin.eu/guest-portal as an authenticated user the 'Featured Resource' box on the landing page always first displays 'Korp', and rotates through the other items when I refresh the page.
I expect the page to display a randomly selected teaser from the nodes of 'LRTshowcase' content type each time the page loads.
We don't show this block anymore, and alternatives are available as from today.
