Description
Some components need to be updated in preparation for the upcoming CMDI 1.2 migration. Menzo has some local tools to prepare this update on basis of a database dump. Therefore the following steps need to be executed:
- Component Registry (database) voor publiek op read-only maar met de service wel bereikbaar voor GET
- Dump van de database maken en naar Menzo sturen
- Menzo creëert op basis hiervan een update-script
- Script toepassen op database
- Applicatie/database weer volledig toegankelijk maken incl schrijven
- Bring Component Registry web application down (alternatively put database in read-only mode and disable login)
- Make a fresh dump of the component registry database and send this to Menzo
- Menzo creates an update script on basis of this dump and sends this back
- Apply the update script to the component registry database
- Put the application (and database) back into normal working order

This task has been carried out, in fact in the meantime Component Registry 2.1 with CMDI 1.2 support has been deployed and all components have been converted successfully. Closing the ticket.
