ACOnet automatically fetches the metadata - no manual intervention needed - as described below by ACOnet admin Peter Schober:

We're checking ​that URL daily (in an automated job) and import any entityIDs listed in that XML document from the eduGAIN MDS feed (if found there). As such there is no need for any manual intervention, the next (at the latest: daily) metadata update will take care of that automatically.

I've now pushed another (unrelated) change to our metadata, which as a side-effect also triggered a re-import of "your" entities from eduGAIN into our non-interfederated downstream feed. Assuming that the copy we pulled from eduGAIN already is what you consider "current" (which depends on the metadata registrar; DFN-AAI in this case) we should also carry the current copy now.
