Install collectd 5.4.2 on SLES 11 SP4

~ Install collectd from the custom repository:

zypper ar -f  'http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/server:/monitoring/SLE_11_SP4/' collectd
zypper install collectd

Important: a custom build is required for SP4. Apply the configuration mentioned here?.

Start collectd on centres-clarin

as root:

killall collectd
tmux a
/opt/collectd/sbin/collectd -f
