As described in the wiki page CmdiClavasIntegration:
- the schema for component specifications needs to be extended to allow for references to external vocabularies (through, among other things, the 'Vocabulary' attribute on elements)
- the 'component specification to schema' stylesheet should be changed to reflect vocabulary information in the component/profile specifications so that it becomes available to applications depending entirely on the schema
Adding support for this in the Component Registry is covered in #370.
