• Resource type vocabulary:
  • Taskforce will harmonize the definitions
  • Vocabulary for CLAVAS will be prepared
• Resource type value mapping:
  • Taskforce will finish the profile mapping
• Modality facet
  • Vocabulary proposed by CLARIN-D VLO-Taskforce can be revisited and potentially revised or renewed
  • Manual value mapping based on a predefined vocabulary
• Organization facet
  • Vocabulary:
    • ACDH has curated list of organizations and VIAF-IDs that can be provided to the Taskforce
    • Center Registry: well curated organizations list which can be used
    • CLARIN centers should be included in the curation process
      • it should be possible to create a list of organisations that appear in their records, and ask them to curate them, e.g., fix typos and alignment with preferred labels
  • Value mapping:
    • Taskforce will pick up task of automatic value mapping (with pattern and string matching, Levenshtein distance, etc.)
    • the pre-processed list may then need further manual work
• Subject facet
  • Some "low hanging fruit": automatic curation possible (e.g. IDs from vocabularies which can automatically be resolved)
  • Further curation should not be attempted
• Feedback mechanisms to metadata creators/providers
  • Resource providers would like some feedback on what mapping took place with their records
  • Curation Module might be the right place for this
    • Provide logs for MD providers containing the mapping
    • Include mapping report in the single record assessment
• Upcoming meetings of the taskforce
  • Upcoming meetings until CAC will be virtual
